Freedom is 9-1 against Marinette since May of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Irish will be playing at home against the Marines at 4:30 p.m. The two teams were dealt some close losses in their previous games and are determined not to let this one get away.

Freedom made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Denmark, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Irish fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 9-7 on Saturday. The Irish have struggled against the Vikings recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Marinette's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell just short of Fox Valley Lutheran by a score of 6-4. Marines fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Foxes since on Saturday.

Chase MacGregor made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Justin Kruse, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Marinette's defeat dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Freedom, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Everything went Freedom's way against Marinette in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Freedom made off with an 11-2 win. Do the Irish have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Marines turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
