            Baseball Recap: Western Michigan Christian Warriors vs. Whitehall Vikings        
        
		
        
        
            Western Michigan Christian barely beat Whitehall the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp  16-9 win on Wednesday. Considering the Warriors have won five matches by more than six  runs this season, Wednesday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Max Miller made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 3.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Miller was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-5 with five  RBI, two  doubles,  and one  run. Those  five  RBI gave  him a new career-high.

 In other batting news,  Nathan Clausing was  incredible,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with three  doubles, two  runs,  and one  RBI. Those  three  doubles gave  him a new career-high.  JJ Braun also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  triple of the season.
 Western Michigan Christian  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Whitehall struck out six times.
Western Michigan Christian has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 9.6 runs over those games. As for Whitehall, they moved to 7-12 with that  loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
Western Michigan Christian will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair will be back at it again later today.
