Baseball Recap: Southside Christian Beats Wilson Christian Academy for Their Fourth Straight Win

Southside Christian hadn't done well against Wilson Christian Academy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Chargers. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by six runs or more this season.

Ethan Busdieker made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Busdieker was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Zeke Ragan, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Southside Christian's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 3-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).
