Basketball Game Preview: Upsala Cardinals vs. Browerville Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Upsala Cardinals challenge the Browerville Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday... Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Upsala took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-47 victory over Little Falls.

Upsala relied on the efforts of Jack Primus, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, and Samuel Laliberte, who posted 17 points and five assists. The game was Primus' fourth in a row with at least ten points. Nicholas Guthrie was another key player, putting up five points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Browerville took their match last Tuesday with ease, bagging a 72-42 win over Bertha-Hewitt.

The victory got Upsala back to even at 2-2. As for Browerville, their win bumped their record up to 1-0.

Upsala came up short against Browerville in their previous meeting back in February, falling 67-63. Can Upsala avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
