Football Recap: Chiefland Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Chiefland fell victim to Baker County and their airtight defense on Friday. They received a blow as they fell 14-0 to the Wildcats. Having soared to a lofty 36 points in the game before, the Indians' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Matt Goodale threw for 34 yards on seven of 13 attempts. Jonathan Adams was his top target, picking up 32 receiving yards. On the ground, Demorri Sweet rushed for 111 yards on only 14 carries.

Chiefland's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Baker County, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chiefland will host Belleview at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Baker County, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Ponte Vedra at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
