Basketball Recap: Sandoval Blackhawks vs. Webber Trojans
The Sandoval Blackhawks suffered their closest loss since January 10th on Thursday. They fell just short of Webber by a score of 46-43. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat Sandoval has suffered against the Trojans since February 23, 2021.
Webber got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Allie Smith out in front who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadi Bain, who scored eight points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Sandoval has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-17 record this season. As for Webber, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-22.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Farina South Central the next time they take the court. Webber will head out to face Farina South Central at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, while Sandoval will host them at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
