Game recap: Federal Way High School Football Team takes down Curtis

UNIVERSITY PLACE, Wash. - Federal Way (Wash.) snapped Curtis (University Place, Wash.)'s 6-game winning streak, with a 35-6 victory on Saturday.

The Eagles were up 14-6 at the half after taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter.

Federal Way expanded its lead to 22 points entering the fourth quarter. FW scored two times in the third, including once on a passing touchdown.

Scott Wismer played well for the Vikings. The junior quarterback threw one touchdown.

Curtis' lone touchdown came on a 29-yard pass from Wismer to Ej Deveaux in the second quarter.



The Eagles came into the game allowing 14.0 points per game. CHS came in giving up 12.1 points per game this season.

Federal Way also won the meeting between the two teams last season, 17-7.

The loss comes after Curtis defeated Rogers 41-33 last week.
