Volleyball Game Preview: East Valley Red Devils vs. Sunnyside Grizzlies + How To Watch

The East Valley Red Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the Sunnyside Grizzlies at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. East Valley will be strutting in after a win while Sunnyside will be coming in after a loss.

While East Valley's victory against Toppenish wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Red Devils had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 3-2 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Red Devils have posted since October 30, 2024.

Meanwhile, Sunnyside lost 3-0 to Eastmont on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost seven in a row.

Sunnyside's loss dropped their record down to 0-13. As for East Valley, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

East Valley was able to grind out a solid win over Sunnyside when the teams last played back in September of 2024, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
