 Cary can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent  match  on Monday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Apex Friendship Patriots  an   11-0 shutout. The  victory was familiar territory for Cary who now have four in a row.
  Gavin Turner was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  double. The team also got some help courtesy of  Benjamin Morris, who  scored two  runs while going 2-for-2.
 On Apex Friendship's side, they got a good showing from  Simon Martone, who   struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits (and not a single walk).
 Even though they lost, Apex Friendship  didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and  finished the game with 11  strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cary only tossed four.
 Cary's win was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 11-6. As for Apex Friendship, they have  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost five of their last six matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record  this season.
 Cary will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Knightdale at 7:00  p.m. Cary is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.2  runs per game  this season. As for Apex Friendship, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Cary at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
