Soccer Recap: Highland Springs Comes Up Short

Highland Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They came up short against the Atlee Raiders, falling 15-0. While losing is never fun, Highland Springs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 323rd, while Atlee are ranked 16th).

Highland Springs' loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Atlee, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Coincidentally, Highland Springs and Atlee will both be playing Patrick Henry the next time they take the pitch. The Raiders will host the Patriots at 7:45 p.m. on Friday, while the Springers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
