Basketball Recap: Davenport Comes Up Short

Davenport and Fredericksburg squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Davenport had to settle for second. They fell 33-23 to the Fredericksburg Billies. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Billies recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Davenport's defeat dropped their record down to 26-10. As for Fredericksburg, the win (which was their 22nd in a row) raised their record to 31-6.

Davenport does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fredericksburg, they will square off against La Vega on Monday. La Vega will roll in looking for their 15th straight victory, something Fredericksburg surely won't give up without a fight.
