Williston-Elko extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 9-6 in the process. They put the hurt on the Wagener-Salley War Eagles with a sharp 15-6 win. Considering the Blue Devils have won five games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Wagener-Salley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9. They have struggled against Williston-Elko recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

For Wagener-Salley's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Starnes, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Starnes has become a key player for the War Eagles: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 4-8 otherwise. Jaxon Barnett was another, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Williston-Elko will venture away from home to challenge Hampton County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Wagener-Salley, they will head out to face off against Pelion at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
