Basketball Recap: Bucksport Takes a Loss

Bucksport lost against Presque Isle back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Bucksport Golden Bucks lost to the Presque Isle Wildcats on the road by a 59-45 margin. The Golden Bucks just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Bucksport's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Presque Isle, they moved to 9-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bucksport will take on Ellsworth at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Ellsworth will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Bucksport surely won't give up without a fight. As for Presque Isle, they will challenge Mount Desert Island at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
