Williams Field came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against Higley, but Britton Skousen wouldn't allow it. The Knights were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Black Hawks on Thursday thanks in part to Skousen, who had 15 digs and one assist. He is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games he's played.

Higley's got stronger as the match went on, holding Williams Field to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Williams Field still got an impressive performance from Tragdon Jenkins, who had 12 digs and three assists.

Higley is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-7-2 record this season. As for Williams Field, the defeat snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 24-6 record.

As of now, neither Higley nor the Black Hawks have any future games scheduled.
