Moorefield won the last time they faced Clay-Battelle and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Yellow Jackets narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Cee-Bees 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Yellow Jackets.

Moorefield's victory bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Clay-Battelle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moorefield will host Pendleton County at 5:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Clay-Battelle, they will face off against Valley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
