Volleyball Recap: Thornton Starts Season with Victory on the Road + How To Watch

Thornton had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bruce Randolph Grizzlies. The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Bruce Randolph scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 20-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Bruce Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Thornton will look to takes advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they takes on Skyview at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bruce Randolph, they will take on Jefferson at 6:30 p.m. on September 3.
