Basketball Recap: Saturday's Win Is Glenpool's Third in Last Four Outings

Glenpool won the last time they faced Wilson-Henryetta, and Aaliyah Shawnee did her part to make sure it happened again. The Glenpool Warriors breezed by the Wilson-Henryetta Tigers to the tune of 59-31 on Saturday thanks in part to Shawnee, who went 10 of 20 on her way to 22 points along with eight steals and five rebounds. Shawnee is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

Demoia Gater was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Glenpool is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Wilson-Henryetta, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.
