Softball Recap: New Canaan Find Success

New Canaan won against Guilford last Tuesday with seven runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. The Rams came out on top against the New Milford Green Wave by a score of 7-4. For the Rams, this counts as revenge for the 7-0 win the Green Wave walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

New Canaan has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 7.0 runs this season. As for New Milford, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coming up, New Canaan will hit the road for the first time this season to challenge Brookfield at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for New Milford, they will welcome Masuk at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
