Baseball Recap: Proctor Takes a Loss

The Proctor Raiders didn't have quite enough to beat the Watauga Pioneers on Wednesday and fell 9-8.

JOSH MARTINEZ was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was RADHAMES EMANIEL, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Proctor's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Watauga, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-11.

Looking ahead, Proctor will challenge Austintown-Fitch at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Watauga, they will face off against St. Vincent-St. Mary at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday.
