Softball Recap: Westwood Find Success

Westwood's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They came out on top against the Millennium Tigers by a score of 10-7. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Navi Brinkerhoff was incredible, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Emilee Andrews, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.

The victory got Westwood back to even at 13-13-1. As for Millennium, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season.
