Volleyball Recap: Goodridge/Grygla Comes Up Short

Goodridge/Grygla lost against Red Lake Falls back in August of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Chargers lost 3-0 to the Eagles.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15, 25-16.

Makayla Erlandson paced Goodridge/Grygla's offense, picking up five kills. Erlandson got some help from Brianna Severts and her 13 assists. Erlandson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Goodridge/Grygla's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Red Lake Falls, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-6 record this season.

Goodridge/Grygla didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Northern Freeze co-op [Marshall County Central/Tri-County] on the 11th. As for Red Lake Falls, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Stephen-Argyle Central on the 11th.
