Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North was beaten by Gwynn Park 60-16 on Tuesday. Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.
Gwynn Park's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reagan Mason , who scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for Mason. Another player making a difference was Davis Geormaya, who scored ten points.
Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1. As for Gwynn Park, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North will head out on the road to face off against Friendly at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Friendly focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Monday. As for Gwynn Park, they will be playing at home against Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
