Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Father Lopez). They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over the Lake Mary Prep Griffins on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Green Wave needed considering they were shutout in their previous game.

Their offense was hitting Lake Mary Prep from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Sophia Flanigan led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Father Lopez's victory bumped their record up to 2-5-3. As for Lake Mary Prep, they dropped their record down to 0-6-1 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Father Lopez will challenge Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Mary Prep, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against International Community on the 9th.
