Preview: Pacheco vs. Linden
The Pacheco Panthers will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against the Linden Lions at 6:00 p.m. Pacheco will be strutting in after a win while Linden will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Monday, Pacheco's game was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Los Banos 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Pacheco.
They were led to victory by the tag-team duo of
Samuel Pinal and
Bryan Reyes, who scored both of Pacheco's goals. The pair have combined for a total of 15 so far this season.
Meanwhile, Linden was the victim of a rough 6-2 defeat at the hands of Weston Ranch on Tuesday. Linden has not had much luck with Weston Ranch recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Pacheco is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 14 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-4-2 record this season. As for Linden, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6-5.
