Preview: Taylor Tigers vs. Mount Ida Lions
Taylor has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Mount Ida Lions at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arkansas (Taylor is ranked 237th, while Mount Ida is ranked 251st).
Last Thursday, Taylor was able to grind out a solid victory over Blevins, taking the game 61-52. The win was just what Taylor needed coming off of a 61-33 defeat in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Mount Ida's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They took a 51-36 bruising from Union Christian Academy.
Taylor's victory ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-10. As for Mount Ida, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-10 record this season.
