Longmeadow and Westfield are an even 4-4 against one another since October of 2015, but not for long. The Lancers will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Bombers at 7:00 p.m.

On Friday, Longmeadow ended up a good deal behind West Springfield and lost 29-14. The Lancers haven't had much luck with the Terriers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Westfield came into Friday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 20-14 victory over Minnechaug Regional on Friday.

Longmeadow's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Westfield, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-6.

Longmeadow barely slipped by Westfield in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 25-24. Will the Lancers repeat their success, or do the Bombers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
