Baseball Recap: Northwest Cabarrus Takes a Loss

Northwest Cabarrus lost against Lake Norman Charter back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans lost 11-1 to the Knights. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwest Cabarrus saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Lancaster, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

Northwest Cabarrus' loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Lake Norman Charter, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-5.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwest Cabarrus will take on rival West Rowan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Norman Charter is set to square off against their familiar foe Central Cabarrus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
