Basketball Recap: Chatham Homeschool Picks Up Tenth Straight Win at Home

It's playoff time, and Chatham HomeSchool had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the DASH United by a score of 65-55 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Thunder sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Luke Coletta was his usual excellent self, going 7-for-11 to rack up 17 points in addition to six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Parker Teague, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 12 points.

Chatham HomeSchool's victory was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-13. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.6 points over those games. As for DASH, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 14-12 record this season.

Coming up, Chatham HomeSchool will take on South Wake at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. South Wake knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 contests -- so hopefully Chatham HomeSchool likes a good challenge. DASH does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
