Soccer Game Preview: King's Way Christian vs. Toledo

The King's Way Christian Knights will challenge the Toledo Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. King's Way Christian's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Toledo's offense will have their work cut out for them.

King's Way Christian's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Kalama 14-0. Luke Gomes was a massive factor in the win as he booted in three goals all by himself.

King's Way Christian used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Kalama. And. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Asher Wyckoff scored two goals, while he scored a goal.

Meanwhile, Toledo was able to grind out a solid victory over Stevenson on Friday, taking the game 3-1. Toledo haven't had any issues with Stevenson recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Toledo's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-2. As for King's Way Christian, their win bumped their record up to 3-0-2.

King's Way Christian took their victory against Toledo in their previous matchup back in May of 2022 by a conclusive 4-0. Will King's Way Christian repeat their success, or does Toledo has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
