Softball Recap: Crestwood Knights vs. Wilson Tigers
After flying high against Northside Christian Academy last Thursday, Crestwood came back down to earth. The Crestwood Knights came up short against the Wilson Tigers on Friday, falling 17-7.
Zaire Ransom made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of My'Aniah Robinson, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Crestwood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Wilson, the win also got them back to even at 2-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestwood will challenge Hartsville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Hartsville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.7 runs per game this season. As for Wilson, they will face off against South Florence at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
