Soccer Game Preview: St. Anne's-Belfield vs. Collegiate

St. Anne's-Belfield hasn't had much luck against Collegiate recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Saints will face off against the Cougars at 4:00 p.m.

St. Anne's-Belfield fell victim to St. Christopher's and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 4-0 to St. Christopher's. While losing is never fun, St. Anne's-Belfield can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 32nd, while St. Christopher's is ranked first).

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three matchup, Collegiate brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They blew past Benedictine 4-1 on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Collegiate, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Benedictine with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Reid Campbell (2), Kellen Patel, and Jacob Timmons.

Collegiate's win bumped their record up to 9-2-2. As for St. Anne's-Belfield, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.
