Football Recap: Grayslake Central Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Grayslake Central unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were beaten by the Saint Viator Lions 52-0 on Wednesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it eight in a row.

Grayslake Central and Saint Viator will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Rams are set to challenge their familiar foe Antioch at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Saint Viator will take on rival Carmel at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
