Basketball Game Preview: Ridgewood Rebels vs. Elmwood Park Tigers

Ridgewood and Elmwood Park are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Ridgewood Rebels will be playing at home against the Elmwood Park Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Ridgewood and 11 for Elmwood Park.

Last Friday, Ridgewood was beaten by Glenbard South 61-8. The contest marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, Elmwood Park ended up a good deal behind Argo on Saturday and lost 47-33.

Elmwood Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Ridgewood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11.

Ridgewood came out on top in a nail-biter against Elmwood Park in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, sneaking past 40-38. Will Ridgewood repeat their success, or does Elmwood Park have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
