Softball Recap: Etowah Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Springville, Etowah was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Pisgah Eagles 2-1. The Blue Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Etowah now has a winning record of 14-13. As for Pisgah, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8.

Etowah didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-2 victory against Sand Rock on the 5th. As for Pisgah, they have also already played their next game, a 4-3 defeat against Cherokee County on the 5th.
