Bucklin extended their winning streak to nine games thanks to a huge performance from Emmy Kirk. The Bucklin Red Aces had just enough and edged the Spearville Lancers out 50-48 thanks in part to Kirk, who went 10 for 19 en route to 27 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. Those 27 points gave her a new career-high.

Bucklin pushed their record up to 11-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Spearville, they moved to 9-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Bucklin didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 54-40 win against Pawnee Heights on the 4th. Spearville has also already played their next contest, a 61-36 victory against Minneola on the 3rd.
