Basketball Recap: Providence Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Providence Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 49-48 heartbreaker at the hands of the Straughn Tigers. The Eagles lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in February of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 65-16 score last time.

Providence Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Straughn, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Providence Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Ariton at 5:30 p.m. As for Straughn, they will face off against Georgiana at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
