Juneau-Douglas extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 3-3 in the process. They fell 4-1 to the Sitka Wolves. Surprisingly, this marked the Crimson Bears' third straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

As for Sitka, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1-1. Four seems to be a good number for they as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

For Sitka's part, Levi Hodges spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. Hodges has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brett Ross, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Another player making a difference was Josh McAlpin, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

As of now, neither Juneau-Douglas nor Sitka have any future games scheduled.
