Softball Preview: Pace Academy Knights vs. Drew        
        
		
             The Pace Academy Knights will challenge Drew at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Pace Academy has 11 straight  victories, Drew has 44 straight  losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
 On Monday, Pace Academy made easy work of Westminster  and carried off  a  9-1 win. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matches by eight  runs or more this season.
  Megan Wrigley was a major factor no matter where she played. She  struck out six batters over  3.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  tossed less than six  strikeouts in seven consecutive pitching appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Kate Grice was  incredible,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Livie Lynch, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Drew lost  20-2 to Forest Park on Tuesday.
 Pace Academy has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 games,  which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record  this season. As for Drew, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-20.
 Everything went Pace Academy's way against Drew when the teams last played  back in September, as Pace Academy made off with  a  22-0 victory. Will Pace Academy repeat their success,  or does  Drew have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
