Lecanto has gone a perfect 10-0 against Central recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Panthers will host the Bears at 7:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Lecanto and three for Central.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Lecanto's offense. They fell 3-0 to Dunnellon on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Central started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Pasco. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by just one run.

Lecanto's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-12.

Lecanto took their win against Central when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 10-1 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
