Softball Recap: Alhambra Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Alhambra's offense. They came up short against the Schurr Spartans on Tuesday, falling 14-0. The Moors have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Alhambra's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Schurr, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Alhambra will challenge rival Montebello at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Schurr is set to face off against their familiar foe Bell Gardens at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
