Basketball Recap: East Bay Indians vs. Armwood Hawks
Armwood typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday East Bay proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 53-46 win over the Armwood Hawks. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Hawks, too.
Kyree Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 12 points along with five assists and three steals. Mohsin Hemmings was another key player, scoring 13 points.
Preston Achille and Talon Mckinnie certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Achille posted 13 points, while Mckinnie put up 11 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. Achille has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Henry Morgan, who earned eight points.
East Bay's record now sits at 11-8. As for Armwood, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-7.
East Bay wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 63-56 loss against Chamberlain on the 17th. Armwood has also already played their next contest, a 66-46 defeat against Newsome on the 17th.
