Basketball Recap: Wells Comes Up Short

Wells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 57-50 to the Lake Region Lakers. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-54 last Tuesday.

Wells' loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Lake Region, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Wells will challenge Poland at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Region, they will venture away from home to take on Yarmouth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Region knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Yarmouth likes a good challenge.
