Football Recap: McMinnville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

McMinnville had lost five straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 1-6 to make it six. They took a blow against the Sherwood Bowmen, falling 50-7. While losing is never fun, the Grizzlies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Bowmen are ranked 12th).

Drew Bizon threw for 105 yards on seven of 18 attempts.

As for Sherwood, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2. That looming 50-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

Jack Wilson had a dynamite game, rushing for 108 yards and one TD, while also catching one touchdown. His longest rush was for an incredible 79 yards. Kai Boatsman was another key player, throwing for 109 yards and three TDs on perfect 7-for-7 passing.
