West Salem came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 49-31 victory over the Holmen Vikings. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2023.

West Salem's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Holmen, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

West Salem will be playing in front of their home fans against Arcadia at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Holmen, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 84-32 defeat against Eau Claire Memorial on the 4th.
