Basketball Recap: Hartsville Red Foxes vs. Lakewood Gators
Hartsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 52-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lakewood Gators. The Red Foxes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Gators apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2020.

When it comes to explaining why Hartsville lost, don't look at Brooke Mitchell. Despite the final result, she almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine rebounds.
