For the second straight game, Legacy Christian Academy will face off against Riverdale. The Lions will host the Cowboys at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Legacy Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.2 runs per game this season.

On Thursday, Legacy Christian Academy didn't have quite enough to beat Riverdale and fell 7-6. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson Balden put in work no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Lucas Highfill made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Legacy Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-3-1. As for Riverdale, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.
