            Football Preview: Woodlands Falcons vs. Tuckahoe Tigers        
        
		
        
        
            The Woodlands Falcons will venture away from home to  face off against the Tuckahoe Tigers  at 1:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Woodlands comes in still looking for their first win of the season.
Woodlands' offense might be in the hot seat  on Saturday considering what happened against Sleepy Hollow  on Saturday. They had to suffer through  a    50-0 loss at the hands of the Horsemen. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 543rd, while the Horsemen are ranked 121st).
Meanwhile, Tuckahoe took a  blow against Bronxville on Saturday, falling  48-21. The loss was the Tigers' first of the season.
 The match pitted two dominant  backs against one another in  Declan Connolly and  Brian Formato. Formato had a great game and gained 301 total yards and four touchdowns. Meanwhile,  Connolly was balling out in the loss, rushing for 103 yards and three  touchdowns, while also picking up 31 receiving yards.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Tuckahoe  fell to 6-1. As for Woodlands, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.
 Woodlands suffered a grim  26-0 defeat to Tuckahoe  when the teams last played  back in November of 2024. Can the Falcons avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
