Peyton Luffman gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in April of 2024 on Friday. He was dynamite, pitching 6.2 innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
