Volleyball Recap: Columbus Christian Takes a Loss

Columbus Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Tabernacle Christian Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in August.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-16.

Katie Bond paced Columbus Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Bond got some help from Abby Dora and her six assists.

Columbus Christian's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Tabernacle Christian, their victory ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 10-7.

Columbus Christian has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 9th. As for Tabernacle Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Lighthouse Christian Academy on the 9th.
