Round Valley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Greyhills Academy Knights with a sharp  3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Elks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Round Valley took every set by at least 14 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-11,  25-7.
Leading Round Valley to victory were  Skyler Hevener and  Bren Finch.  Hevener  had six  digs and four  aces, while  Finch  had five  aces and three  digs. That's the most  aces  Finch has posted since back in September.
 They weren't the only good servers: Round Valley  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 20  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least 20  aces in three consecutive  matchups.
Round Valley's record now sits at 21-8. As for Greyhills Academy, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost 13 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-18 record  this season.
